Howard Gardner created the multiple intelligences concept in his book, Frames of Mind. Robert Sternberg has also done important work in the field, most interestingly in his Successful intelligence and Stephen Jay Gould’ The Mismeasure of Man. Daniel Golman’s Emotional Intelligence is important.  The kinesthetic exercises are inspired by Brain Gym®, the works of which are readily available.
