James was most recently working as COO and Director of Programs and Logistics for S.E.E.D.S (Supporting Education, Empowerment, and Development through Science). Here, he collaborated with over 100 individuals to develop and expand a program which aims to engage school youth in science, technology, engineering, and math fields. In this role, he also supported grant writing activities, and successfully secured grants for Ontario Trillium Foundation and others, in excess of $140,000 for this growing organization. Prior to this, James designed curriculum for a school-based injury risk education program through TD ThinkFirst for Kids, and he also coordinated the 'Brain Day' Program for Parachute Canada, which delivers education workshops across Canada. James completed his Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto, with a double major in Neuroscience, and Cell and Systems Biology. He is passionate about education and youth engagement.
